Spending bonus for US Bank Cash+

Wow, so many spending offers pouring in for the holidays!

From November 1 through December 31, 2015, earn up to $20 per month in statement credits, by spending up to $1500 per month. See tiers below (photo of letter that came in the mail today):

(not sure if that promotion code is unique to me or not)

Remember that you chose two 5% cashback categories that are capped at $1500 per quarter, so I would definitely hit that spend first for an additional $20 bonus. I’m not convinced that going for the second $1500 is entirely worth it though! Continue reading →

Hyatt Credit Card Spending Bonus Offer (possibly targeted?)

Yesterday, I received this offer in my snail mail and intended to post about it, but today I received it in my email as well. The title of the email is “Earn 3,000 Hyatt Gold Passport Bonus Points” if you’re looking for it in your email (I know I always appreciate it when people tell me the subject to search for with targeted offers, especially on eBay and Paypal!).

Here’s a screenshot! Continue reading →

New improved Amex Offers interface!

Via Doctor of Credit (well actually Michael found it himself, but we noticed that DoC posted first) Amex has just revamped their Amex offers interface. Now you can view all the offers available at once again in a vertical list, versus manually scrolling through all of the offers available to you.

Now there’s no need to keep the link to the old interface anymore, because this one is just as good! Continue reading →

I ain’t about the G-money, money, money

Hopefully you were among those able to take advantage of the giftcards.com gravy train that was around until they eviscerated it last month.

Part of the deal was the fact that Visa Gift Cards (VGC) were eligible for giftcards.com’s G-money rewards program, which offered 1% back in credit to be used towards a future purchase. This allowed for us to effectively buy the gift cards at a net-zero cost basis. Continue reading →

WOW Air coming to Los Angeles and San Francisco in Summer 2016

Via Deals We Like, WOW Air is expanding their service to Los Angeles and San Francisco in Summer 2016. Currently WOW only services Boston and Baltimore in the United States, so this is a nice addition for those living in California or elsewhere on the West Coast to get cheap flights to Iceland or onward connecting flights to Europe.

Iceland, especially with WOW Air and Icelandair, has positioned itself as a convenient hub for passengers from North America to get to Europe with short connections and cheap tickets. Continue reading →

Citi AAdvantage Executive 75,000 miles signup offer still available!

The 75,000 AAdvantage miles signup offer for the Citi AAdvantage Executive card was supposed to have expired as of October 26, 2015. However, via ChetHazelEyes on reddit, the old application link for the 75,000 miles offer still works.

As a reminder, the minimum spending on this card is $7,500 within 3 months to get the bonus. The annual fee is $450, but if you cancel within 45 days or so, you can get the annual fee refunded. The miles won’t be clawed back as long as they have posted to your AAdvantage account. Make sure you renew your Hyatt Gold Passport and M Life status match

I caught this message from M life titled “Renew Your Tier Match” from a couple of weeks ago.

I was under the impression before that the status match was automatically renewed for everyone, except for some people due to IT issues, but it looks like not.

The process to renew is even easier than matching the first time, since you should have already created an M life account. Just click on the link in the email, sign in with your Hyatt Gold Passport credentials, then sign in with your M life credentials, and that should be it! Continue reading →
