DoorDash (my referral link) recently put out this promo to encourage people to text receipt photos in exchange for 25% back in DoorDash credits. I don’t think it’s targeted, but some people don’t seem to have received the email. I thought I’d put out a blog post since DoorDash sent another few marketing emails saying “We didn’t get much interest.” Surprising to me since it’s so easy to do! 😅

Fine Print:

*Customers should follow local and health official guidelines when visiting restaurants in person. This offer may be amended or canceled at any time without notice and is only available for customers that receive the program invitation directly from DoorDash. Only clearly legible dine-in receipts will be valid. Split receipts are not eligible. Receipts must list restaurant name, subtotal and a date between 11/11/21 – 11/22/21. Email submissions will be accepted until 11/27/21. Credits will be added to the DoorDash account associated with the phone number or email used to submit the receipt. Credits will be calculated based on the subtotal listed. Limit one receipt per restaurant. Limit $25 in DoorDash credit per valid receipt submitted. Max Dine-in Credits of $150 per customer per week during the program. Must have or create a valid DoorDash account.

Verdict

This promo came in good timing with some road trips I’ve been doing since Veteran’s Day. I love free food, and this was super easy to do with all the family/friends meals I’ve been having lately. I’ve earned $134 so far with a few days left to go. Just need to get some people together to get one more receipt! 😄
